Because We Love Him.

Why do we go to church every sunday?
Is it to please ourselves and to look good.
But there is one who sees our every motive,
It's time to do it only out of love.
We must show him just how much we love him,
And do the works we do JUST OUT OF LOVE.
Then he will be so pleased each time our heart he sees,
And we will know we're basking in his love.

The Armies Of God.

If you are a christian who is walking in Gods' will,
Have no fear of your enemies and let your heart be still.
For all around Gods' children there are angels who'll protect,
The lives of all Gods' serving saints as their calling they fulfill.
The number of the enemy is much smaller than that of ours,
With mighty angels all around we're protected by Gods' power.
So walk without fear of the enemy and what he'll try to do,
Have faith in God and his boundless love for he thinks the world of you.

Overcoming Bias.

All prejudice has gone,
In Jesus we are one.
No bias should you find,
Inside the Christians' mind.
For Jesus showed us the way,
That we should live each day.
Through Jesus we have the power,
To help our relationships flower.

Counterfeits Of The Heart.

There's only one way to know the truth,
That's to trust in Jesus Christ.
He is the only one in whom we can rely,
And the only one who to us will not lie.
Though some people can be charming,
With the words they plant in our hearts.
The only way to not be deceived,
Is to trust in the Lord Jesus in whom we believe.

Looking And Learning.

Parents be careful about what you say,
And also in all that you do.
For the values you have your children may share,
For they will be watching you.
So all Christian parents must teach them the way,
To talk and to walk with their God.
Then you will be proud when your child has grown up,
As they walk the path that you trod.

Solomon Turned From God.

His faith like ours began with strength,
As he lovingly followed the Lord.
He read Gods word and obeyed it each day,
And the two were of one accord.
Then as he got older he obeyed God no more,
But took the counsel of his non-jewish wives.
Then little by little his faith disappeared,
And he ended his days in great strife.

Trouble.

Trouble comes to everyone born upon the earth,
Christians can use their troubles to show what they are worth.
So don't be afraid of trouble when it comes to you,
But ask God for his character so you can see things through.
His Spirit will build Gods' character into you over time,
Then whenever trouble comes at you his character will shine.
Whether Patience or Perseverance are just the things you need,
Trouble will bring them out of you and with them you'll succeed.
