Perfect Imperfection.

God inspired living is the way that we should be,
So people who we see each day can see the Lord in me.
Our character should be changing into Jesus more each day,
Then as we share our faith in Christ many will follow the Way.
Though we are far from perfect Christs perfection dwells within,
And when we turn in faith to Christ his blood covers our sin.
So start each day with Jesus and let Him guide your way,
Then you will live in perfect peace as you go through each day.

The Best Gift.

Our heavenly Father loves us so much,
That when we each come back to him.
Through the power of prayer we're always in touch,
And through Jesus he forgives us our sin.
So he fills us with the Holy Spirit,
He's the best gift that God could have given.
For he's making our character like Jesus each day,
So we'll be ready to live in heaven.

He Knows Us.

Whatever you may be going through as you go through each day,
The Lord is watching over you as you go on your way.
Then when you are in trouble and you don;t know where to turn,
Ask the Lord to help you.
When things are going your way and everything is fine,
You forget about the Lord your God it's like he's been left behind.
So learn to speak to God each day when you go through your day,
Then you'll know who to turn to when things don't go your way.

An Anchor When We're Afraid.

As we go through the storms in our lives,
Going up and down just like waves.
Knowing that Jesus our Saviour is near,
We'll know that we'll always be safe.
His rod and his staff will protect us,
And show us the way we should go.
Then at the end of an obedient life,
The love of our Saviour we'll know.

Telling Time.

Time is a gift to be used wisely,
For we don't know how long we have got.
So use every moment in the service of Christ,
For one day that will be our lot.
When we reach heaven and our lives are all done,
What will our Master say then.
Well done for the work you have done in your life,
Or you've wasted your life on yourself.
