Who Do You See?

We're each of us special created by God,
We're loved and we're cherished by him.
He'd like us to kneel at the foot of the cross,
So we could be washed of our sin.
Now when we look at people just who do we see,
Is it losers we treat with disdain?
Or do we see lost sheep who just can't find their way,
And with compassion lead them home again.

Something To Declare?

As christians we are called by Christ to share our faith in him,
Don't hide it under a bushel or the prize you will not win.
When we each stand before him to declare what we have done,
Do we want to stand there shamefaced for not telling about God's son.
So when you go about today tell people about our Lord,
Then they will know your a christian and listen to your word.
Some will just make fun of us for believing in Gods' son,
While some will accept him for their own and another soul will be won.

Can I Trust You?

If your seeking discernment about someone to trust,
You must go and ask the Lord if they're true.
Then to back up that answer seek help from your church,
And the wisdom of God will come through.
For there are many people who are willing to lie,
To get what they want out of you.
So seek godly discernment about ones you're not sure,
For God only wants the best things for you.
