Not My Kind.

Jesus Christ the Son of God was perfect in every way,
As different from us than anyone could be.
Yet he took our sin upon himself so he could pay the price,
Then each of us through faith would be set free.
He could have said they're not my kind and left us to our fate,
But instead at great cost to himself he paid the price.
So as followers of Christ we too should aim to be like him,
By loving those not like us by opening their eyes.

The Accuser Of The Brethren.

Satan stands in the court of God to accuse us of our sins,
So that we should be sent to Hell when we die.
But Jesus Christ the Righteous One stands in our defense,
And with Satans' wishes he will not comply.
If the accused has taken Christ as saviour while on earth,
Then off to heaven that happy soul will go.
But if the accused has turned his back on Jesus and the cross,
Then it's the fires of hell and torment he will know.

Help Needed.

Don't let prayer be the last thing,
When help is needed but your first.
For God is ready to help you each day,
And give you the answer you thirst.
So show God you really trust Him,
By going to him first with your need.
And you'll find that he'll always answer,
For he loves to see you succeed.

Slacker?

When we know what we should be doing,
But instead make another choice.
We're convicted by our own conscience,
As we hear Gods still small voice.
Then it's up to us to say sorry,
For our disobedient way.
Then get on with the task he gave us,
While we still have the light of day.

The Remedy For Fear.

If you listen each day to the newscast,
You will find that your so full of fear.
That the enemy has you so tight in his grip,
Gods' purpose for your life is unclear.
So turn off all those negative thoughtwaves,
That the enemies sending with glee.
And fill every thought with the word of the Lord,
Then watch as the enemy flees.

More,More,More.

This generation does not seem happy with the things they have,
They're always crying out for more and more.
This makes for great unhappiness within their hearts and souls,
And there's only one way peace can be restored.
They need to know that peace can reign within the human heart,
Only when they truely know Gods son.
Then joy will bubble in their hearts and they will be content,
Through Jesus true contentment can been won.

Benefits Of Friendship.

If life seems dark and lonely and you haven't any friends,
It's time you searched for people you can trust.
For friends are just like flowers in the garden of our lives,
And when we're feeling down they are a must.
God gives us friends to bless us and to strengthen us each day,
People we can confide in about life.
Now if we do not have friends then don't take this to heart,
For Jesus is the best friend we could have.
