Dependence Day.

We're all so dependant on God for our needs,
But we don't seem to see that so well.
It was for us all that he died on the cross,
So that we would not end up in Hell.
We each should thank Jesus in our prayertime each day,
For the love and concern shown by him.
If he did not come down here and die in our place,
Then we'd all still be lost in our sins.

Tender Loving Care.

God sees us as his children,
For whom he really cares.
He wants the very best for us,
And he is always there.
When we cry out to him in prayer,
He hears our every word.
God sees what we go through each day,
And guides us with his word.

Why Worry?

If life seems set against you,
There's no need for despair.
For God himself is for you,
And he'll help and show he cares.
Our God is like a fortress,
And we are safe inside.
So give to him your worries
And through them all he'll guide.

Who Is This Man?

Jesus came to give his life,
As our only sacrifice.
God the Father would accept no other,
Only through Him would our sins be covered.
He proved who he was through the lives he changed,
He was never boastful and didn't seek fame.
Now everyone who turns to him,
Can be transformed and freed from sin.

The Big Comeback.

If you allow sin to take control and your life goes way of course,
Don't think that this is the end and be overcome with remorse.
For Jesus knows how frail we are and forgiveness is the key,
And he is ready with open arms if you just bow the knee.
His love for us is unending and if we confess our sin,
He truly will forgive us for the mess that we are in.
Then through his Holy Spirit he'll empower our daily walk,
Then it will be like it was at first as daily with God we talk.

Gentle Witness.

When you feel the Spirit moving you,
To witness to someone you meet.
Ask him for the words you need,
As this person you lovingly greet.
At the end of your time together,
You must ask if he knows Jesus Christ.
As his personal Lord and Saviour,
Then another soul might have been won.
If not there's some praying to be done.

Make It Personal.

Have you been going to church on sundays the way you always do,
Because you did it from your youth and it's expected of you.
Don't you think it's time to make your faith so real,
Making your faith more personal and be filled with holy zeal.
Then kneel down to the Lord who came and gave his holy life for you,
Say sorry for all the wrongs you've done and to jesus try and stay true.
Then daily read Gods holy word and then spend time in prayer,
And you'll know what he expects from you and just how much he cares.
