Transforming Power.

If you hide Gods word within your heart as you read His word each day,
You will find them coming back to you when needed.
For the Holy Spirit transforms you like the potter moulds his clay,
To transform you into Jesus he's succeeded.
So memorise the bible as you read His word each day,
And know that will be used to make you holy.
Then when you get to heaven for your work on earth is done,
Thank Him for His work in making you holy.

Not Lost In Translation.

Thank God for the Holy Spirit who helps us in our prayers,
When we don't know what we should be praying for.
He searches deep within our hearts and lifts to God our cares,
With groanings that God just could not ignore.
So when you are in daily prayer and don't know what to say,
Remember the Holy Spirit lives within.
Jesus sent the helper and he'll help us when we pray,
For it's in our hearts that our prayers begin.

Boo!!

When first we come to know the Lord his love for us is sure,
But as time goes by we take his love for granted.
Then we may start to drift away from him who's love is pure,
And end up in a place that isn't wanted.
We at last like the prodigal must turn and run back home,
To where we know the one who loves is waiting.
Feeling shame for wandering we fall down at his feet,
His love for us is more than we were anticipating.

Me And Dad.

God the Father has some work for each of us to do,
By the power of his Spirit He will help us follow through.
He loves to share his work with us not do it all alone,
Though he knows he'd do it quicker if he did it on his own.
We have a loving Father who is cheering his children on,
Till our work on earth is finished and we each can then go home.
Don't get sidetracked by the devil who just wants us each to fall,
Just keep getting up when you fall down as you hear your Father call.

An Ordinary Day.

On a day just like this He is coming.
To gather his family to him.
So do not get caught up in living for self.
Or to Heaven you won't enter in.
So if you have strayed from His pasture,
Living your life for yourself.
Quickly turn back before his return,
And your spirit will be full of health.

An Audience Of One.

Whatever gifts God has given to you,
Try to use them everyday.
Remember you've always an audience of one,
And he's watching you all of the day.
What would you like him to say to you,
When you come to the end of your life?
Do you want to hear God say a hearty well done,
Or ask why you wasted your life?
(Not me.So i better get on with my life).

Gods' Will.

To find Gods' will and do it,
That's what is expected of us.
And he will help us through it,
Just like his son Jesus.
For God was very happy,
When Jesus did his will.
So we should learn to copy him,
And God will be happy still.
